There is plenty of snow play in Frazier Park CA - 3/12/2010

Hey everyone, man o man am I tired.  I went 4X4'n all day today.  Just wanted to show you some pic's of my drive up to Mt Pinos Recreation area so you will know how much snow there is.

These are pictures of me drivin up to Mt Pinos Recreation Area this morning about 7 or 8 a.m.

The picture of the building is the Nordic Base at the top of Mt Pinos Recreation area and then there is the parking lot.

Although there are signs that say, 'chains required' it is not necessary unless it snows tonight or tomorrow, and there is a chance of snow in the a.m. that is predicted in the forecast.  The roads are dry with some patches of melting snow that may turn into ice.  Please drive careful and have a great time.

I will try to post early tomorrow morning if it does snow to let you know the conditions.

Please don't forget to keep our forest clean and pick up all and any trash, thank you.

There is plenty of snow play!!!

Enjoy!!!

Is There Still Snow In Frazier Park CA?

YES!  YES!  YES!  YES!  YES! YES! YES!

There is still snow in Frazier Park CA.

We got a couple of inches the other day.

Many people are a little confused about where Frazier Park is, and if you are one of those many people, please read my post on 'Snow In Frazier Park'.  Just be advised that when you exit the freeway, off Frazier Mountain Park Rd exit, you are not yet is Frazier Park CA, and you will not see snow (unless it snows tonight but there is no snow in the forecast).

If you would like to know where the best place is to go sledding, in the snow, off Frazier Mountain Park Rd, then please read my post on 'Snow Play In Frazier Park'.  The only place that will have enough snow, to sled on, is the third place, I write about, in the post.  There are several places between the second and third places, I write about in the post.

NO CHAINS ARE REQUIRED in order to go to the places I indicate in the post 'Snow Play In Frazier Park'.

The 5 Freeway is open!

The road conditions are great!

The weather is awesome!  Today it got up to 67 degrees and it was very sunny with scattered clouds, every so often.

The weather in Frazier Park CA, should be sunny and warm tomorrow.  Warm to us is above 50, so if you think it is cold when it is below 70 (which most So Cal peeps do) then it will be cold to you.  ;-)

There may be scattered clouds, which makes it colder.

Well, I hope this is helpful, we love it when you visit so have a good time and please pick up your trash, lol...

:-)

There is still snow here in Frazier Park California and my guess is that it is going to snow tonight.

Whether it stops raining or it snows tonight, you will need chains when you come to Frazier Park CA tomorrow, because the temperature tonight will cause icy roads tomorrow morning.

About Frazier Park CA

Frazier Park is my Beautiful Town USA!  I love it here.  The weather is always perfect.  Perfectly warm or perfectly cold.

Today the high was almost 60 degrees.  Perfect!

The sky, here in Frazier Park, is always the bluest skies I have ever seen, like Hawaii.

Frazier Park, CA, is an unincorporated community in Kern County.  I like to call it my little village, he he he.

My little village is about three miles west of the Interstate 5 Freeway, you may know it as The Grapevine.

It is early January and we don't have any snow right now, which is quite unusual.  We tend to get some snow right after Christmas.  We got a bit of snow in November that stuck for a couple of days.

I love the snow and I love when we get a lot of it.

If you get a chance to visit us, here in Frazier Park, CA, you will love it!  We have hiking and mountain biking trails.  We have 4X4 camps.  And we have many amenities that all tourists love like small Mom and Pop restaurants and stores.

Check us out.

Have a great day and visit us soon if you get a chance, we love to have you!!!

Busniness in Frazier Park CA

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Stanfill and welcome to my blog, Frazier Park CA!!!

This is
my first post on this blog. Before I posted, I thought I would go out to my community and see if anyone had websites that they would like me to link to my new blog, for free.

It was a lot of fun walking around talking to people and business owners in my town. You see, my town (Beautiful Town USA is what I like to call it) does not have an unkind person in it.

So, I am walking and talking. I am also interrupting people right in the middle of their work but they don't say a thing. Some just keep on a workin while we a talkin. I LOVE IT!!!

What a wonderful day! The air is always clean here. The sun was out and it was a delicious 60 degrees.

Today, I met a lot of wonderful people who have great businesses.

Many businesses do not have a website. Can you believe that?

The other day I read that 60% of people search the internet for information before they use any other resource like the phone book. No one really uses the phone book anymore, do they?

What was disappointing was, I met two people that told me they don't need a website.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Yeah, I'm sorry that you don't need a website and I am sorry you won't grow your business 30 to 60% either. The worst part was the first person did not have one, NOT ONE, paying customer in her store. The other person only had one, THAT'S RIGHT, ONE!

WHOLEY MOLEY GUACAMOLE AVOCADO SAUCE!

Yeah! Who needs technology anyway? It won't be long before we all do.

Just a little point here people. There are so many people that access the internet from their cellular phone. That's right, they don't have to be residents of Frazier Park CA, at home on their computer. We have tourists, HELLO!?!

We have tourists in the Winter (we call them snow bunnies). And we have tourists in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Why would anyone not want to have a website for those visitors who have their iPhones and Blackberries Googling businesses while they are in Frazier Park CA?

Call me silly but, YOU NEED A WEBSITE PEOPLE!!!

Well, that's enough rambling for me. I love my town, I hope you will visit, and I will write to you soon...
