Planing to go this Sunday! will there still be snow? im really excited to go....rj
There will still be snow RJ, have a great time.
Our family are also thinking about going there for the first time. So we have no idea what to expect. We simply would like to play in snow. Coming from LA, are the roads are okay? Do we need to bring our sleds etc.? Are there any places for food or buying snow play item? De we need chains? How are the access from FWY 5 to the snow play area. How busy it gets on the weekend? Many questions.... Your cmments will be appreciated very much.Nancy

Hi can you tell me how much is the pass? Thanks
I do believe the day pass is like $5.Welcome Anon...
Thank you, last question do you have to get a pass per each person or just one for your group?
Hi Anon, the adventure pass is for parking in the Los Padres National Forest. So, basically, it is for each car, and you hang it on the rear view window, or put it on your dashboard.Enjoy...
This weekend u wont be needing an adventure pass due to MLK DAY
welcome Anon ;)
Hi - Do we need to buy the pass in advance or will there be options to buy when we arrive at the forest?
Hi Elizabeth,Do we require recreation pass when we are visiting only Frazier park & Mt Pinos for snow play and no where else.
Hi Elizabeth,How far is Los Padres National Forest from Frazier park? Thanks
is there snow. i was planning on taking my kids this weekend
Wow! That is real cool, Anon...I had no idea about the free pass this weekend because of MLK.Thanks for that info...mwuah!
Great question Anon. It is probably easier to buy in advance. When you get up there, and park, the Ranger may ticket you if you do not have one.
Anon, you will need an adventure pass for Mt. Pinos, I do not believe you need one for Frazier Park, but an earlier commenter stated there will not be any requirements for this weekend for an adventure pass due to MLK Holiday. Hope that is true.
Anon, you enter Los Padres National Forest before you get to Frazier Park. Therefore, it is in the Forest. ;)
Milagros,I am pretty sure there is still snow at the top of Mt. Pinos, which is about 19 miles west of the Frazier Park off ramp on the I5. Although, I have not been up there lately, the snow tends to linger longer there. It is a pretty safe bet.
Does it look like there wil be snow up there for this weekend?
