UPDATE ON CURRENT CONDITIONS AND SNOW IN FRAZIER PARK CA

It is currently 8:30 a.m. Sunday, February 07, 2010.

Last night we had a bit of snow, less than an inch, in Frazier Park CA.  YES!!!

There is snow in Frazier Park CA!

The Grapevine is open so that you may drive to Frazier Park.

The main road is open, as of now, so that you may drive up to the snow in Frazier Park.

CHAINS ARE NOT REQUIRED, AS OF NOW!

If you would like to know where to play in the snow, please check out my post, Snow Play In Frazier Park CA.

I shall update today, if they start to require chains.

Hope to see you here...

Elizabeth

  1. You've put together a great resource ... It's difficult to get detailed snow conditions for the Frazier Park area (as I'm sure you know), so this is really helpful.

We're hoping to drive up tomorrow from Ventura County to take our daughter sledding. Anything new to report? I just heard that the snow may get down to 2500 feet.

    Thanks again!

  2. Hey there Jessica,

We got new snow yesterday and the sun is out right now, Wednesday February 10, 2010, 8:52 a.m.

No chains are required so come on down, or up, I should say.

I am at 5000 feet and we got about an inch or two yesterday. It will be a lot of fun for you and your family today since you won't have to worry about the traffic or snow chains.

    Have a great day!
